This book was made in conjunction with weekly readings of the last chapter of Finnegans Wake at the Corrib Pub in Boston, after which Tim Ahern would illustrate the reading. These meetings have been held for the past 14 years by The Thirsty Scholars Finnegans Wake reading group. The drawings were then collected and finalized for publication as this book. Ahern had previously illustrated the first chapter of the Wake in 1983 (University of Washington Press). He has been reading and researching the Wake since December 16, 1969.
